Revolution Cannabis x Grassroots California

For the annual OIL holiday on 7/10 (representing cannabis extract/oils), Revolution Cannabis partnered with Grassroots California, a popular cannabis apparel brand out of California, to create a custom hat design celebrating the concentrate holiday. The design included embroidery of the event logo, imagery of Revolution’s coveted concentrates on the satin underside, reflective honeycomb pattern on the brim, branded stitching, a stash pocket and a matching enamel pin. The hat collab release party was held (open to the public) on the holiday at Made Gallery Chicago – a gallery of handmade artisan glass pieces and streetwear – and featured free pizza and beer from local vendors, swag bags with Revolution branded merch and the opportunity to purchase the Rev x GR collab hat with matching enamel pin at a special price. APPROVED HAT DESIGN

Grassroots California's hats are known for using different textiles and patterns on the different parts of their designs as well as utilizing bright accents and puffy embroidery. Working with the folks at GRC, I designed the hat to include high-resolution images of concentrate on the underside while their team chose the different textures that would make up each panel.
